In the shadow of the Pilotta Palace, in an area whose appearance was radically altered by the WWII bombings, in 1873 kitchens were set up to feed the poor during winter here in “Kitchens Street”, formerly Borgo della Farmacia di Corte (Court Pharmacy Street).
